Thanks be to God!!!!

The Alter
Sunday Before Thanksgiving

"Pile On" pumpkins, gourds, purple onions, Indian corn touches of greenery and clusters of roses to create this Alter of Plenty the Sunday before Thanksgiving. A Scarf/Shawl  from my closet helps make the colors pop!!

From the Backyard to the Foot of The Cross

The Foot of the Cross
First Sunday in December

Under the Cross. All from the yard. Pine branch dropped from Neighbor's tree, branches of Japanese Magnolia buds, Magnolia Leaves, Holly, Nandeena berries and pine cones.
Cut stuff out of your yard and stick it in a urn, bucket or vase. Anyone can do it. The secret is to stick it all in and then walk away. If you try and arrange it - you wont be happy. Have fun!!!!

Purple in the Grocery Store!!

The Alter
First Sunday of Advent

Looking for items warm, full of texture and PURPLE for the first Sunday of Advent was easier than I thought. Other than the springs of pine and rosemary, everything else was found at the grocery store in the produce department.

To God be the Glory!
